Venus

Cutting through the silent night

a beacon in the eastern sky

an old timekeeper awakens

the earth every day

the vanguard of sun

chaperone of light

bringer of hope

Venus

you are the messenger of light

the star that lights up the night

the morning bell that motivates people to rise

the one who guides people through the door of darkness

the golden compass for people to go forward

your punctuality

your firmness

your brilliance

your passion

your calmness

your seriousness

your dedication

your courage to assume responsibility

your generosity

should win recognition and respect

Venus

a character we need to learn from.

Still

The buildings

standing on the south side

blocking the erosion of frost and time

hugging the river trail

white mist with a tinge of green

a casual veil

dotted with dry

withered grass

yellow leaves

the north wind dipped in red

blazing glory

of fierce maple flames

fried by autumnal sunlight

the maindenhair tree is sweet and savory

however

the manchurian ash

the camphor tree

and holly are green

still

over the treetops

sounds of birds and insects

vaguely chirpy

happy still.

Just a poem

I loved her

thousands of times

searching for

the soul of a poem

i loved her

devoutly

a village where

cherry blossoms spring from

i loved her

a stack of white sails

passing through twilight

across the fluted water

i was not afraid

of the cold river

thousands of pages turned

occasionally

from the corner of my eye

she was a bright scenery

suddenly

searching thousands of times in vain

it turned out

she’s just a poem

those shy dimples

where poetry is from.

Just another morning

The early morning sun

a few words

pieced together

into casual poetry

give it to you

clean up the sleepiness

yesterday stays

on the desktop

a lonely plate

on the table

turn on the washing machine

throw in the clothes

still unawakened

pace to the kitchen

crack an egg

fry a golden sun

sit down by the window

color of autumn sqeezes in

listen to some music

enjoy this morning

that’s a little

different.

Be free

The cloud is free

is the cloud truly free

as long as the wind doesn’t stop

the cloud can’t stop

wandering

the wind is free

but is the wind truly free

which direction

it wants to go

it is not its decision

the bird is free

but is the bird truly free

it needs to stay

vigilant at all times

so as not to become

someone’s prey

the fish is free

is the fish truly free

even when it’s sleeping

its eyes must not be closed

freedom is only

correlative

only

by maintaining the purity

of the soul

can it be free

to come and go

can you be

your true self.

Midsummer

In the evening

scenes of twilight

slow winds

walking on the concrete roads

scrolls of paintings

slide after slide

all come into view

hyaline skies

fiery sunset

long old bridge

clear reflection in the water

still a beautiful sky

so beautiful

so real

so close

so is everything

in nature.

Tonight

Twilight

the sky is beautiful

cerulean and full of fleece

bright moonlight within

a cloud painting

tonight

the night is captivating

the wind calling

a beautiful fairy tale realm

what kind of holy ceremony is this

filmy starry honeyed

ultramarine tiles

the sky seems to be calling for

the arrival of some advanced lifeform

round halo of the moon

a wild horse roving

golden sparks turn into

delicate flowers in the woods

an agile dragon passing though

the muzzy mountains so peaceful

clusters of chrysanthemum blooming

releasing a frgrance so indistinct

in the wilderness

pairs of murmuring birds

climb above the silver branches

playing and playing

tonight

the night is waning

the distant lights intoxicating

all the devout and wet

dew leading the way

in this world of emotions

full of passion

enthusiasm

yet tender

just like water.
