My Interpretation of Poetical Ideas, Messages, Information and Resources.

Mood of midnight

The mood,
of midnight,
like the effulgent street lamps,
outside the window,
can’t tell which one’s the most shy,
can’t tell either,
which one’s the brightest,
the mood,
like the glinting stars in the sky,
don’t know how many of them are blinking,
how many of em are looking back at me,
the mood,
like the silent orchid cactus,
blooming in the corner,
waiting for the dim hazy moonlight,
hastily indulgent,
and withering,
the mood of midnight,
sleepless like the girl next door,
with window ajar,
like the southerly,
sneaking in and out,
not leaving the slightest sound.
